Strawberry Moon in Sagittarius 2025

June 11th, Strawberry Moon in Sagittarius - Your truth just called me. She says she feels ignored. So now she comes kicking in the damn door.

Get ready. Again. If you thought last month’s Scorpio Full Moon already did the heavy lifting (burning bridges and screaming “ENOUGH!” at your old life) Well…

Surprise…

This full moon might just be the sequel. And it comes in as a bit of a truth-quake.
In case you decided to put in your earplugs last month and sit in denial, this moon comes in with a megaphone: “WAKE UP, SPEAK UP. And for the love of your soul, MOVE”.

Sagittarius is the seeker, the truth-teller, the wild wanderer of the zodiac. And under this moon, your spirit is done playing small. Expect restlessness. Expect truth bombs. Expect spontaneous clarity. Expect… a very strong urge to book a one-way ticket to a new life (or at least a spontaneous weekend retreat with no WiFi).

Welcome to the Strawberry Moon.
Sweet name, wild energy. Real questions:

“Who are you really... and why are you still pretending you’re not?”

Let’s find out.

Why do we call it a Strawberry Moon?

It sounds sweet, right? Like a picnic and a kiss under the stars.
But don’t be fooled! This isn’t about sipping rosé and picking berries (though.. mm.. not a bad idea!).

The Strawberry Moon gets its name from the Algonquin tribes, marking the short but magical season of ripened wild strawberries. In Europe, it’s sometimes called the Honey Moon, because June is peak wedding season and bees are doing their buzzing thing (Let’s just say emotions aren’t the only thing heating up). Nature’s in full bloom, and abundance is everywhere.

But here’s the thing: sweetness doesn’t come without contrast. To harvest something ripe, something else had to grow, break open, and ripen in its own messy timeline. And under this Sagittarius moon, that “something” is you.

So yes! strawberries, honey, bloom, love… but also: big clarity, bold moves, and truth that refuses to stay hidden. Because Sagittarius doesn’t just want your sweetness. She wants your full aliveness.

Themes of this full moon

Imagine you are a snow globe; well.. You are being shakennnn into action.

Expect to feel all or some of the following:

  • Restlessness: like you need to move, change something, do something. Now.
Suddenly, your life might feel… tight. Like your routine doesn’t fit anymore. Your job feels mehhh. Your relationship feels ughhh. You might find yourself Googling plane tickets, new courses, random retreats in Portugal, or jobs in Bali (REMOTE PLEASE).

This is Sagittarius whispering: “There’s more. Go find it.”

  • Truth bombs: Unlike the nickname implies, we are not doing any sugarcoating this time.
Expect blunt conversations, uncomfortable truths, and the urge to finally say what’s been stuck in your throat for months. Whether that’s “I’m not happy here,” “This isn’t working,” or “Actually, I want more”

It’s coming out. And if it’s not? It’s time.

  • Sudden clarity: Moments of “Wait... why have I been tolerating this?”
What you used to believe might not feel true anymore. Old goals? Suddenly hollow. Old personas? Exhausting. You may feel pulled toward something that doesn’t make logical sense yet, but feels right. And honestly? That’s the point. This moon is all about burning away what’s fake and following the spark of what’s real.

  • Big feelings: Especially around purpose, meaning, freedom, or being “on the wrong path”

One little warning before you go full-on drama mode: Be mindful: Jupiter (Sag’s ruler) loves to go big. So, even though you might want to suddenly do everything, everywhere, all at once. New goals, big moves, bold declarations… just watch out for overwhelm. Big dreams don’t need chaotic execution. So look for a weird calmness and a steady alignment.

Other than that, you might feel a little existential. A little disenchanted. A little like…
“Why am I doing any of this?”
But don’t be scared of a breakdown. That’s just the breakthrough. Let it come.

‘Cause, you, me, and your neighbour also have no idea what we are doing 80% of the time. And it’s fine.. :)

Is there more? Yes there is more

Physical symptoms you might notice

Sagittarius rules the hips, thighs, liver, and sciatic nerve. Basically, the parts of you designed to move forward. So when you feel stuck in life, you may literally feel stuck in your body too. Suddenly makes sense why my boyfriend is complaining about sacrum pain…

During this Full Moon, you might notice:
Hip or leg tension – like something’s energetically lodged in your ability to move… (HA.. HA.. I’m currently still recovering from my hip injury, the universe has humor)
Liver sensitivity – sluggish digestion, irritability, or even sudden food sensitivities
Sciatic nerve flares – or lower back discomfort as emotional pressure builds
Wanderlust – yes, physical and emotional. Craving movement, space, freedom
Hot flashes, impatience, or sudden bursts of energy – thank you, fire sign chaos

This moon is not exactly subtle. If your body feels like it wants to run, shake, twist, or unplug from everything. Listen.

So now we know all the horrors, what can we actually do about it?

How to take care of yourself

This isn’t the week to push your limits or prove your productivity. It’s the week to create space, release pressure, and support your body in digesting everything that’s bubbling under the surface.

Here’s what might help:

  • Gentle hip openers – think slow stretches, not deep forcing

  • Herbal liver support – dandelion tea, warm lemon water, bitter greens

  • Walking meditations – even a short stroll can move stagnant energy

  • Foam rolling – especially glutes, thighs, and lower back

  • Silence + breath – give your nervous system a chance to catch up to your spirit

And remember: craving escape doesn’t always mean running away. Sometimes it’s your body begging for presence, without noise, screens, or distractions. Go pick out some fresh flowers and dip those strawberries in chocolate while whispering, “I’m doing the best I can with this human experience.”

Because you are.

ORRRR do yoga!

What to focus on during yoga?

Theme: “Open & Expand”
(…without needing to have it all figured out or stretching to far and break something, like me.. yeah.. don’t be me.)

Your practice this week isn’t about performance or perfect poses. It’s about making space. In your breath. In your hips. In your mind.
You’re not here to escape the discomfort. You’re here to stretch through it (but gently, curiously, courageously).

5 supportive yoga poses for the Strawberry Moon

  1. Supta Baddha Konasana (Reclined Butterfly)
For softening. For stillness. For tuning in instead of tuning out. Let gravity open the hips while you reconnect with your heart.

  2. Anjaneyasana (Low Lunge)
Big Sagittarius energy. Opens the front body, stretches the thighs, and feels like a moving prayer toward your future self.

  3. Pigeon Pose (Eka Pada Rajakapotasana)
No explanation needed. This one finds the tension you didn’t even know you were holding, and gently asks you to let go.

  4. Twisting Lunge (Parivrtta Anjaneyasana)
Liver love + perspective shift. Wring out stuck emotion and make space for new insights.

  5. Viparita Karani (Legs-Up-the-Wall)
Let the world spin without you for a moment. Let your nervous system recalibrate. Let your spirit rest. And if you are experiencing lymph stagnation, this is a great one!

Rituals for that moon energy

In terms of the rituals for this month:

  1. A trusted oldie, since Sagittarius is a fire sign, work with a fire ritual! SAFELY! Write the lies you’ve been telling yourself, the things you want to leave behind and the habits you want to say bye-bye to and watch them burn, dramatically.

  2. Create a mini altar with objects that symbolize your truth. Things that remind you of who you are when you’re not trying to impress or fit in.
    Add:

    • A candle for your inner fire

    • A compass (or draw one) to symbolize direction

    • An old journal, a photo of your past self, or a handwritten intention
Sit with it in silence. Ask:  What part of me is asking to be seen, heard, and set free?

  3. Speak-it-into-existence ritual: Sagittarius rules the voice of truth. So speak. Out loud. Say the one thing you’ve been holding in. To yourself, the moon, your journal, your mirror, the trees, your guinea pig, doesn’t matter. Let it leave your throat. Let it live in the air.
If you want to go big: record yourself and listen back. Not for judgment, but for witnessing.

  4. “Next Chapter” vision-writing: Light a candle. Breathe. And write: “This is the life I’m stepping into now.”
Then let the pen move. Don't edit. Don’t hold back. Let your future self speak through you. Wild. Raw. Brave. (You might just shock yourself.) Or heck, let ChatGPT write one for you!

  5. Freedom walk: Try to roam in a new part of town without any goal in mind. Let’s see what happens. preferably with no music, no phone. Just you and the sky. Walk. Breathe. Notice.
Sagittarius is a wanderer, and sometimes you need motion to access clarity.

Reflective journal prompts

  1. What truth have I been avoiding, and why? (Don’t censor yourself. Let it be raw.)

  2. Where am I shrinking myself to stay comfortable, accepted, or in control?

  3. What old identity, label, or story no longer fits, but I keep holding onto anyway?

  4. If I stopped editing myself for others, what would I say or do differently?

  5. What is my soul hungry for, and what one step would move me closer to that?

Sagittarius’s parting words would be…

The truth isn’t scary. Staying small is.
When the Sagittarius moon hands you the match, points to everything that is weighing you down, and asks you to burn it down, would you? (FIGURATIVELY PLEASE)

"Go live. Loudly. Honestly. Bravely. Your future self is already cheering you on."

So if you’ve been doubting yourself lately...
Let this moon remind you: Your path gets clearer the moment you stop running from who you really are.
Let this moon be the romantic partner that grabs you by the face, lifts your chin, stares you in the eyes, and reminds you that your direction doesn’t need to be perfect, it just needs to be yours.

And if you're scared? Do it anyway.
The leap you’re resisting might just be the one that sets you free. There is nothing more precious than the talents and beauty that arise from a person who chooses to align with their true self.

Here for your beautiful transformation back home,

With wild truth & fierce love,
