Beaver Moon in Taurus 2025
For your inspiration..
November 5th, Taurus Full Supermoon – Step. Away. From the “self-care” online cart for a sec… we need to talk.
It’s time to slow your roll, check in with yourself, and remember that stability doesn’t have to be boring.
Remember that last full super moon in Aries? How was it? Some family drama? Relationship chaos? Cute…. Now get ready for the real deal. Because this Taurus Supermoon is coming in bright and hot (well, actually slow and sensual, but still powerful). She’s giving us a much-needed cosmic reality check in silk pajamas. She’s that one friend who pours you a glass of wine, looks you in the eye, and says:
“Babe… when was the last time you actually relaxed without feeling guilty?”
Yeah. This blog is that friend for you today.
Taurus is ruled by Venus, so she likes her pleasure, her comfort, her oat-milk lattes and freshly washed sheets, but don’t mistake her softness for weakness. This moon is embodied goddess meets stubborn bull energy, asking:
“Are you building a life that feels good, or just one that looks good on Instagram?”
Personally, after the rollercoaster of eclipse season and having an Aries boyfriend (my nervous system says hi 👋), I’m more than ready for something steady. The last full moon brought plenty of emotional homework, so I’m not lying when I say: I could use a little grounded peace. But Taurus doesn’t just hand you peace; she makes you earn it. She’ll nudge you to release what’s been shaking your foundations, clean up the chaos, and root back into your body. So if you’ve been hustling your way through healing, she’s about to whisper: “Ground, baby, ground.”
Welcome to the moon that smells like home-cooked meals, feels like a weighted blanket, and sounds like your intuition humming, “You can finally exhale now.”
Welcome to my Full Moon, the Supermoon in Taurus.
Why do we call it a Beaver Moon?
This Full Moon is traditionally called the Beaver Moon, named after a time when beavers were most active, building their winter dams before the freeze set in. Think about that for a sec; while most of nature slows down, these fluffy little engineers are out there hustling, gathering, stacking, preparing for the long haul. Beavers don’t build chaos; they build comfort. They know winter’s coming (somebody summon John Snow), and they make sure their foundations are strong enough to handle it.
It’s a mood, honestly.
Therefore, this Taurus Full Moon is giving big “get your sh*t together, but make it cozy” energy. It’s all about steady effort, intentional comfort, and creating the kind of stability that actually sustains you.
So if you’ve been feeling the urge to reorganize your finances, fix that wobbly shelf, buy hot chocolate milk and all the cute autumn decorations, or finally create routines that don’t burn you out by Thursday, know that she has arrived! Let’s challenge ourselves this time not to rush, but to root instead.. mmkayy?
The Beaver Moon reminds us that peace doesn’t just happen; it’s something we build. Stick by stick, boundary by boundary, deep breath by deep breath.
So, builder of your own emotional dam… let’s talk about what this Taurus Full Moon is stirring up inside of you (and maybe what you’ve been avoiding by rearranging your living room for the third time this week).
Themes of this full moon
Sooo… this Taurus Supermoon? Yeah, she’s never subtle. Let’s stare her right in her beautiful, grounded cow eyes for a sec, shall we? Because the themes this time are big, girly. In a “I’m not rushing, but I will change my whole life eventually” kind of way. So we got to take use of that!
We’re talking: Stability. Self-worth. Security. Pleasure. Embodiment. And release of control.
Taurus doesn’t do chaos for fun like Aries (bless them). She’s the friend who folds her laundry with a mask on her face and soft jazz playing, but also quietly updates her budget, waters her plants, and decides she’s done settling for half-energy (she is me, haha). It’s that mix of peace and power which is a reminder that grounded doesn’t mean stagnant, and calm doesn’t mean complacent.
This Full Moon is here to ask:
“Where are you craving peace, but still choosing pressure?”
and
“What do you keep clinging to for ‘safety’ that’s actually keeping you stuck?”
Because here’s the thing. As mentioned, Taurus is ruled by Venus, the planet of love, money, and values. She wants you to feel good, but she also wants you to mean it. This energy isn’t just about bubble baths and snacks (though.. yes, I’d like some, please). It’s about knowing your worth so deeply that you stop settling for breadcrumbs in relationships, work, and the way you speak to yourself.
With the Sun opposite in Scorpio, things can feel intense emotionally. The tension between comfort (Taurus) and transformation (Scorpio) is real. You might feel the pull between “I just want things to stay calm” and “I know something has to change.” This might shock you, but both can be true!
Other feelings to be felt arreeee:
Emotional overindulgence: eating, shopping, scrolling, anything to soothe. (It’s okay. Just notice.)
Body awareness: aches, stiffness, or hunger for movement; your body will speak first. Try to listen this time okay?
Cravings for comfort and routine: the urge to redecorate, bake, or finally deep-clean your emotional closet.
Money or security themes surfacing: reviewing your budget, questioning your value, or noticing where fear runs the show.
Emotional fatigue: after eclipse season, your nervous system might just need a big ol’ nap. You might notice you are sleeping A LOT! Let is happen.
Sensual awakenings: you might crave touch, texture, music, or the simple joy of feeling present. (oorrr… starting that bedroom R&B playlist…🤫)
So yes, the energy might feel heavy in the body, slow in the mind, and rich in emotional texture. That’s not a problem, that’s actually the invitation. Taurus teaches us that healing doesn’t always have to be loud or dramatic. Sometimes it’s as simple (and sacred) as coming back to your breath, your body, and your own damn worth.
Your body’s whisper (or scream)
If your body’s been throwing tiny tantrums lately (tight neck, sore jaw, random food cravings, or the sudden urge to nap for 48 hours straight), you’re in tune with the Taurus Supermoon.
Taurus rules the neck, throat, jaw, and vocal cords, as well as the thyroid and lower jaw muscles, basically the parts of you that hold tension when you’re biting your tongue or pretending you’re “fine.” Add in the fact that this is a supermoon (a.k.a. emotionally amplified), and it’s no wonder your shoulders are creeping toward your ears like they’re trying to reach enlightenment first.
This is your reminder:
Your voice and your values are connected.
When you swallow your truth, your throat feels it first.
When you push past your limits, your body eventually says, “I’m done.”
So, how do we love this body through the moon madness?
Stretch it out. Gentle neck rolls, shoulder releases, and upper back openers can do wonders. Bonus if you hum or sing while you do it since vibration literally clears the throat chakra.
Ground through your senses. Taurus energy loves texture: touch soft fabrics, sip warm drinks slowly, wear warm comfy slippers, and let your nervous system remember what safety feels like.
Feed your Venus side. Nourishing, earthy foods (root veggies, oats, herbal teas, soups) and slow meals help you digest both your dinner and your emotions.
Rest without guilt. This moon can make you feel heavy, not lazy, heavy. The body is processing. The more you soften, the easier it flows.
Your body is just a louder version of your intuition right now. Listen before she starts screaming in all caps. She’s taking you everywhere you go, maybe it’s time to treat her like she deserves.
You might also notice the world around you slowing down, candles, blankets, and self-care items are purchased, bank accounts getting a little extra attention, and your couch calling louder than your ambitions (not us currently on our 3rd K-drama in 2 weeks,, OOPS). It’s giving cozy accountability: the art of binge-watching and budgeting under one moonlit vibe.
What to focus on during yoga?
If the past moons had us chasing breakthroughs and dodging emotional plot twists, Taurus simply rolls her shoulders back and says, “Let’s come back to the body, shall we?” We are not talking about yoga for burning calories, but the yoga for remembering you’re safe inside yourself.
The theme this month: Rooted softness.
We’re working with steady foundations, open throats, and the kind of movement that reminds you strength can feel sweet.
Taurus energy anchors us in both the Root Chakra (Muladhara), which is our sense of stability and trust, and the Throat Chakra (Vishuddha), our voice and truth center. Ground first, then speak. That’s the Taurus way.
Meaning long holds, deep belly breaths, and slow movement that feels like honey through your veins. Try to implement these poses into your flow:
Mountain Pose (Tadasana) – Stand tall, feet rooted. Feel the Earth hold you; no effort required.
Tree Pose (Vrksasana) – Root down, rise up. Balance is Taurus’s favorite metaphor.
Cobra Pose (Bhujangasana) – Open the heart and throat; melt jaw tension and breathe your truth.
Supported Bridge Pose (Setu Bandha Sarvangasana) – Gentle lift through the chest; use a block (Taurus loves props).
Reclined Butterfly (Supta Baddha Konasana) – Hands on belly and throat, breathing until the two pulses meet.
This month I’d like to share a net Breath Practice with you called “The Thousand Tiny Straws Breath”
Borrowed from Dr. Sue Morter’s Energy Codes, this breath works like an internal massage for the Throat Chakra and beyond.
Imagine your body made of thousands of tiny straws or energy tubes (nadis). For this exercise, we divide the body into 3 sections: feet to hips, hips to shoulders, and shoulders to above the head.
1. Start by contracting gently through the legs and hips, as if drawing energy upward.
2. Inhale through the nose and imagine pulling breath up through every straw (read: energy meridians) from the soles of your feet to the hips. Hold it shortly and release your breath while keeping the muscles contracted
3. Now “add” contracting the muscles of your belly, chest and shoulders and imagine the energy being pulled higher into your torso. Hold briefly and fully exhale, while keeping the muscles contracted..
4. Lastly, add the last contraction of the third section of your body, and really pull that energy up until it’s above your head. Hold. and fully exhale with a sigh. Sense the air brushing the throat as it leaves, clearing tension, refining your voice, re-centering your energy. Release all contractions and feel that new energy.
5. Breath in deeply, exhale on a deep ‘ahhhhhh’ sound. Really inviting that energy like a waterfall pouring in.
You can repeat this 3 times if you like.
This breath activates subtle awareness through the whole body while soothing the throat and nervous system. It’s a beautiful way to end your practice since it is steady, sacred, and deeply grounding. If it feels right, finish by chanting “Om.” Feel the vibration ripple through your chest and neck, your inner sound bowl of truth.
Maybe light a candle (Taurus insists), move slowly enough to hear your breath, and let your practice be an act of devotion to the self that’s learning how to rest and receive.
And instead of chasing perfection, just ask your body: “What feels good right now?”
Because that, that!!!, is the Taurus version of discipline: devotion to what genuinely nourishes you.
Rituals for that moon energy
Keep it simple, sensual, and intentional, Taurus doesn’t need drama to make magic.
Candle & comfort meditation: Light a candle, set the scene, wrap yourself in something soft, and take three deep breaths. Focus your meditation on 3 affirmations that really anchor you down. For example: “I’m safe now.” or “I’m worth xyz” or “I am enough”.
Money check-in: Write down where your energy (a.k.a money) actually goes. Cross out what no longer feels aligned, and set one small intention that supports the life you’re really building.
Sensory reset: Ever taken a shower with the lights turned off and your favorite candle and incense burning? Go for it, girly! Put on a soft playlist and turn off the noise. Take some quality me-time to redirect your energy to what really matters: you! Taurus teaches that pleasure is a prayer when it’s done consciously.
This moon’s magic lives in the ordinary: your breath, your body, your home. You don’t have to chase it, just slow down long enough to notice.
Reflective journal prompts
Where am I confusing comfort with avoidance? What am I protecting myself from by staying “safe”?
What does stability actually mean to me, and where have I built it on something (or someone) outside myself?
What sensations tell me I’m grounded? How can I create more of those moments through my daily rituals, body, or relationships?
Where have I underpriced my worth, emotionally, energetically, or literally? What would it look like to start charging life full value for my presence?
What am I ready to release that keeps me from fully inhabiting this version of me, the one that trusts, receives, and rests without apology?
Taurus’ parting words would be…
So, congratulations dear, you’ve survived the chaos, the cosmic shake-ups, and the emotional exfoliation of eclipse season. This is your “main character standing barefoot in the quiet after the storm” moment. This Taurus Supermoon is asking you to remember yourself. To come back to the steady pulse that’s been there all along, beneath the noise, beneath the hustle, beneath every version of you that thought peace had to be earned.
Here’s the thing Taurus knows better than anyone: stability is far from boring; it’s sacred.
Calm doesn’t mean nothing’s happening; it means you’re finally strong enough to hold it without breaking. Rooting down has nothing to do with being stuck. It means you’ve chosen to grow on purpose!
So if this weekend feels heavy, sleepy, or like you’re walking through thick honey, that’s okay. You’re recalibrating. Relearning how to trust your own pace. Let your body lead, she knows the way home, and that is exactly what I teach during my meditation classes. The bravest thing you can do right now might not be chasing something new, it might be staying where it’s safe, soft, and real, long enough to feel how far you’ve already come. Next month you can see if action is needed. For now, just rest, my love.
You are stability. You are the calm. You are the home you’ve been trying to build. And you can trust the pillars to hold you.
And hey, if you end up wrapped in a blanket, surrounded by candles and candy wrappers, mid-binge on your third K-drama like me, just call it your Taurus ritual. It’s healing.
Oh.. And.. if your boss is asking why you are “reacting so late”, just say you are in your resting-era. Which they should probably embrace too😉
With softness & steadiness,
