You got this..

October 7th, Harvest Super moon in Aries - Time for fire, friction, and the sacred art of saying “f*ck it, I’m doing it anyway.”

Who is ready for some boldness and balls??! Because we are setting ourselves up for a full (SUPER) moon in Aries, the fearless firstborn of the zodiac. Only they can storm into the room, flip the table, and then look at us with puppy eyes like, “What? I was just being honest.” And the thing is… we kind of need it (sometimes). We secretly crave their reckless courage, even if it gives us a mild anxiety attack. Personally, the past weeks have been all about finding balance (Libra season, anyone?), which, you can imagine, is quite challenging when you have a raging, chaotic (but oh-so-lovable) Aries boyfriend running around.

And now the Full Moon comes crashing in like my boyfriend an Aries with a megaphone, yelling:

“Enough overthinking, babe. Do the thing. Start the fire. Stop asking permission.”

Because Aries doesn’t care about your pros-and-cons list or your twenty sticky notes of half-baked plans (not me, having my desk covered in little sticky notes). Aries wants action, authenticity, the raw “this is me” energy. And meanwhile, the Sun in Libra is like, But what about peace and connection? to which Aries replies: “Connection? Great. But only if I get to start a new company first.”

So yeah, this Full Moon we are not going to play it safe. We are going to look our BS straight in the eye, grab its cheeks and kiss it hard, ending cycles that should’ve been dead months ago, and daring to stand in the heat of your own becoming. Welcome to the necessary chaos.

PS: Remember what kicked off for you in 2023? We’re closing that loop now.

Why do we call it a Harvest Moon?

This October Full Moon carries the nickname Harvest Moon, because traditionally it was the time when farmers relied on the extra light of the moon to finish gathering their crops, after harvesting their crops of corn during the previous full moon, before winter set in. Basically: ancient overtime hours.

But here’s the fun part: it’s a Supermoon in Aries. Translation: it’s closer to Earth, looks bigger and brighter, and yes, it’s going to blast your emotional Spotify playlist on full volume. Harvest Moon energy is usually about reaping what you’ve sown, tying up cycles, and gathering your “fruits” from the past season. But add Aries to the mix and suddenly we’re not just harvesting carrots, we’re harvesting courage (much neededddd).

Some of you are dreaming about blankets, warm chocolate milk, snacks, candles, and coziness, but nah-ah… not with an Aries running through the fields yelling “I AM the harvest!” with hair on fire. This is THE time to claim what you’ve worked for since 2023, seeing which seeds actually grew, and having the guts to let the dead crops (aka your expired stories, your stale relationships, your self-sabotaging patterns) go to compost.

So if you feel a mix of “Wow, I’ve actually come a long way” and “Holy sh*t, I still have so much to burn down,” congratulations. We don’t want to blame it on the moon, buuuuutttt…..

Themes of this full moon

So uhmmm.. this super moon makes it quite obvious, so let’s stare it straight in the eyes, shall we? And with that, what themes are we inviting in, you might ask? hehe, Big. Ones!

Courage. Confrontation. Endings. Liberation. Bold truth-telling. Restless energy.

A whole identity shift if you let it. That itchy, “I’m so done with this version of me but not sure who I am yet” vibe.

Everyone who knows an Aries might recognize this: They can just suddenly decide on a random Tuesday night to start a new business, sign up for a marathon, AND go to a festival 2 days in a row… all in the same week. They’ll drag you along too, shouting “Come on, it’ll be fun!” while you’re still Googling if it is humanly possible to be ready for a marathon in 1 month without training. That’s my boyfriend.. I mean.. Aries. And often, they manage it all,, like hooooowww?
Bold. Chaotic. Raw. But at the same time.. refreshingly honest. They’ll tell you what everyone else is too scared to say.

A Full Moon of endings and combustion. Of realizing where you’ve been stalling instead of starting. Of noticing how often you’ve waited for permission when you could’ve just taken the damn step. With the Sun opposite in Libra, part of you still longs for harmony, fairness, and keeping everyone happy. But Aries whispers bluntly says:

“Cute. But when are you finally going to stop negotiating with your own soul?”

Other feelings to be felt arreeee:

When Aries rules, buckle up forrrr:

  • Restless body, restless mind: Energy surges, fidgeting, pacing, the urge to do something.

  • Quick temper / low patience: Snappy reactions, frustration when people move too slow (spoiler: they will).

  • Bravery spikes: Sudden clarity like, “Why am I still putting up with this crap?” followed by action.

  • Relationship tension: Libra Sun says “compromise,” Aries Moon says “me first.” The sweet spot is somewhere in between.

  • Identity shake-ups: Feeling a need to shed old labels or titles that no longer fit.

  • Sleep disruptions: Extra fire can equal tossing and turning, adrenaline dreams, or waking wired at 3 AM.

  • Truth bombs: You (or others) blurting things out that have been simmering for months.

  • Identity flexing: People experimenting with bold self-expression, new outfits, haircuts, dramatic posts on social media. Aries makes us want to shout “This is me!” even if it’s messy.

  • More visible conflicts: From news headlines to group chats, expect clashes, protests, or arguments popping up…

In other words.. expect some sparks. People will be more reactive, less diplomatic, and quicker to call BS. The medicine is to channel that fire consciously. Move your body, speak your truth, release the anger before it explodes on the wrong person or in the wrong way.

Your body’s whisper (or scream)

Aries rules the head, face, brain, and eyes; basically, the place where all your overthinking, stress, and “I’ll just push through” energy tends to pile up. It’s also tied to the adrenals and that fight-or-flight wiring, so if you’ve been running on too many Red Bull lately, this Full Moon might call you out.

So if you’re feeling like:

  • Tension headaches or migraines that come out of nowhere

  • Pressure behind the eyes or random eye twitching, burning, or itchiness

  • Jaw clenching or teeth grinding (hello, midnight warrior)

  • Adrenal fatigue or being “wired but tired”

  • Heat in the body, flushed cheeks, or random bursts of energy

  • Impulsivity that makes you want to buy a whole new wardrobe at 2 AM

… This Full Moon is shining its light on you.

How to take care of yourself

We now know this Aries Supermoon’s energy is hot, restless, and pushy as hell. If you don’t consciously direct it, you’ll either explode at your partner for chewing too loudly, or sign up for a Hyrox at 2 AM. (Both… not ideal). So your self-care is about cooling the fire, pacing the impulses, and finding healthy outlets without dimming your spark.

Here’s what that can look like:

Cool your system down.
Literally. Cold showers (not to cold for the ladies!), salads, cucumber water, peppermint tea. Fire energy needs soothing. Think: less “spicy takeout + wine,” more “hydration + naps.”

Move the fire through.
Aries energy stuck in your body turns into headaches or fights. Channel it. Dance, shake, do a HIIT session, reformer pilates or just scream-sing in your car. Better out than in.

Pause before the pounce.
Feel the urge to send a rage-text? Give yourself a 24-hour pause. If it still feels right tomorrow, do it. If not, congrats, you just avoided unnecessary chaos.

Protect your peace.
Full Moons stir up drama. You don’t need to join every argument, even if you could totally win it. Mute group chats, let someone else be “right” for once. Shocking, I know.

Do small, brave things.
This Moon doesn’t ask for a full life overhaul (unless you’re really ready). It asks for action. So take one courageous step, speak a truth, set a boundary, finally send that pitch. Book that beautiful working space. Micro-boldness adds up. This is your sign, if you asked for one.

What to focus on during yoga?

The keyword here is fire with focus.

This Aries Supermoon energy is fiery, restless, and impatient. Where Pisces wanted us to drift into dreamland last month, Aries wants us to light a match and sprint. Which is fine… until your nervous system throws a tantrum. As mentioned before, the medicine here is to channel the fire through movement, ground it into your foundation, and release the pressure that builds in the head and jaw.

We’re tuning into the Solar Plexus chakra (personal power, courage, action) but balancing it with the Root (stability, calm) and a touch of Third Eye (clarity, vision) so you don’t just burn for the sake of burning.

  1. Lion’s Breath in Hero Pose (Simhasana in Virasana)
Release jaw tension, clear fiery energy from the head, and embody Aries’ raw courage. Bonus: you’ll look ridiculous, which helps Aries take itself a little less seriously.

  2. High Lunge (Anjaneyasana)
Powerful Solar Plexus + Heart opener. Root down through the legs while expanding the chest, courage grounded in stability. Perfect for channeling that “do the thing” vibe without flying off the rails.

  3. Warrior II (Virabhadrasana II)
The OG Aries posture: bold, present, fierce. Builds focus, determination, and clarity of direction. Rooted in strength but expansive in vision.

  4. Wide-Legged Forward Fold (Prasarita Padottanasana)
Yes, again. This time, to literally cool the head. Bring the crown toward the earth, releasing tension in the face, jaw, and eyes. Aries needs the reminder to bow down sometimes.

  5. 5. Camel Pose (Ustrasana)
A fiery heart opener that taps straight into the Solar Plexus + Heart chakras. Camel asks you to be bold enough to expand, vulnerable enough to open, and steady enough to ground into your foundation. Perfect for channeling Aries’ raw courage without letting it fry your nervous system.

Theme for your practice: Ignite + Release. Build fire (Solar Plexus), move it through, then consciously let it go.

Close your practice by placing one hand on your Solar Plexus, one hand on your Heart, and ask yourself: “Where do I need to act bravely, or where do I need to cool the fire?”

Rituals for that moon energy

We’ve already stirred up plenty, so let’s keep the rituals simple but potent. Aries doesn’t like complicated anyway; it just wants you to do the damn thing.

1. The Fire Bowl Ritual
Oldy but goldy! Write down what’s been draining your courage: fears, stale roles, toxic “shoulds.” Light it up (safely!!!) in a bowl or cauldron and let Aries fire transmute it. Watch how fast paper burns, that’s how fast your soul wants to move once you stop holding it back.

2. The Brave Step
Instead of just writing intentions, pick one (small) bold action you’ve been stalling on and do it. Send the message. Apply for the thing. Speak the truth. Aries energy isn’t about “someday.” It’s about now. (PS: bonus points if your heart races a little before doing it.)

3. Mirror Courage Invocation (+ Affirmation Recording)
Stand in front of a mirror, look yourself in the eye, and speak out loud what you’re claiming this cycle. Raw, direct, and honest. Think: “I release ___, I claim ___.”
And/ or, take a moment to write your own affirmations, phrases that make you feel braver, stronger, more rooted in self-belief. Record them on your phone and replay them daily in the days before and after this Full Moon. Aries energy lingers, let your own voice be the fire that keeps you moving.

And if you ever forget how strong you are, here’s a mantra you can play to remind you. Or one of my favorite mantras to clear away blockages on your path!

Reflective journal prompts

  1. Where in my life am I still negotiating with my own soul?

  2. What cycle that began in 2023 is now ready to be completed, released, or burned to ash?

  3. If I acted with full courage today, without fear of judgment or failure, what would I do differently?

  4. Which “old identity” or label no longer fits me, and what new version of myself is itching to break through?

  5. Where do I need to stop waiting for permission and give myself full approval to act, speak, or choose?

Aries’ parting words would be…

So congratulations, you survived the flames. This is your Khaleesi moment. You are walking through the flames and coming out even more badass. Standing tall in the fire, hair (hopefully) still intact. Please let this moon help you to remember that you were never meant to tiptoe through life. You were meant to feel the heat, take risks, and stand tall in your own damn fire.

And here is a little secret: Aries courage may sound like it’s all about screaming the loudest or running the fastest. But it actually goes beyond that! It’s about daring to act when your knees are shaking. To say “yes” to what you truly want and “no” to what drains your soul, even if it disappoints someone.

So if this weekend feels restless, fiery, or like everyone around you suddenly lost their chill, please remember: you are informed now. And knowledge is power, is what I always say ;)
Use the sparks wisely. Burn what no longer serves you, but don’t torch the whole house just because you can.

The bravest thing you can do… doesn’t have to be done in one big leap, it can also start from a steady, unapologetic step toward who you really are. And if you’re in a season where even small steps feel like mountains, your brave act might simply be resting, saying no, or asking for help. That still counts as courage under this Aries Moon. The world, and I, can’t wait to see your wholeness and beauty.

And, if you end up ugly laughing or rage-screaming into a pillow, just call it your Aries ritual. It’s allowed. 😉

With fire & freedom,
