If you know, you know

September 7th, Corn moon in Pisces - Hold on to your crystals, people… because we are having a dramatic full-on blood moon.

We’re diving headfirst into the Full Moon and lunar eclipse in Pisces. That can only mean one thing… Feeling allll the feels! This is the sign that makes us cry during videos of dogs being reunited with their owners, dream up entire fantasy lives before breakfast, are (secretly) Taylor Swift fans, and convince ourselves that “just one more tarot spread” will give us the clarity we’ve been procrastinating on for weeks.

Ohhh sweet Pisces. Mystical, compassionate Pisces. You’re the friend who’ll sit with us in the dark, hand us tissues, and whisper that it’s all going to make sense one day… right before casually putting a hex on your ex. And of course, you’ll be barefoot, wearing something flowy, sipping cacao, and reminding us that it’s okay to still believe in magic, even if the world calls you delulu.

But let’s be real: this Full Moon doesn’t calmly go by unnoticed. Eclipse season is here, and Pisces energy means our emotions are about to get more unfiltered than a drunk karaoke night. Expect SWIINGGSS FROM THE CHANDELIEERRRRRR, waves of feelings, dreams dramatic enough to pitch as a Netflix series, and the sudden urge to quit your job, move to Bali, and become a professional cloud-watcher.

Meanwhile, the Sun is sitting in Virgo, side-eyeing Pisces with its highlighters and to-do lists, saying:
“Excuse me… but how is any of this helping us actually get things done?”

So yeah, this Full Moon is not one that gives you clean answers. It’s yet another lesson around surrender, release, and letting yourself feel messy, mystical, and beautifully imperfect. So put on your thickest layer of non-waterproof mascara, because we are inviting the kind of energy that doesn’t care if everything smudges while you’re ugly crying. Who knows, maybe those tears are washing away something you don’t need anymore anyway.

Why do we call it a Corn Moon?

This September Full Moon is nicknamed the Corn Moon, because it shines brightest right when corn was traditionally harvested. Think of farmers working late into the night, the glowing Moon lighting up their fields like a spotlight saying:

“Yeah, Keep going, you’ve got this. Time to reap what you’ve sown… and yes, clean up your mess while you’re at it”

Corn is the ultimate symbol of nourishment, abundance, and cycles. It reminds us that what we’ve been planting (energetically, emotionally, spiritually) is now ready to harvest. And it’s basically saying: if you don’t like what’s popping up in your field right now, that’s feedback. Pisces won’t judge you for it, but she’ll hand you a journal, a cup of cacao, and say: “Okay babe, what do you actually want to grow next?”

And of course, because it’s Pisces, this harvest isn’t just about food or money. It’s about emotional crops. Dreams. The inner stuff that you don’t post on Instagram but absolutely runs the show.

So if you’ve been floating in limbo, questioning who the hell you are, or feeling like you’re between chapters, book a session with me HERE now. Kidding… this Corn Moon is your permission slip to pause and check the field. What’s ready to release, what’s worth keeping, and what wild new seeds are calling you to plant?

Ready to step deeper into Pisces’ waters and see what this Blood Moon eclipse is actually stirring in your inner world (and how to swim with it instead of feeling like you’re drowning in your own feelings)?

Themes of this full moon

Ahhh brave soul, you chose to go deeper! So… what are the big themes of this Pisces Blood Moon?
Surrender. Release. Intuition. Emotional overwhelm. Blurry boundaries. Dreams call louder. And you might notice the itch of an identity shift, like you’re shedding one skin but not fully grown into the next yet.

Ever had that Pisces friend who shows up with wine, incense, and a playlist called “Cosmic Soul Healing”? I sure have. Whether they are allowing themselves to be in touch with their dreamy side or have recently started their own successful bookkeeping business (you know who you are ;) ). They’ll listen to your problems, cry with you, then casually suggest you should probably talk to your inner child while they pull your tarot. That’s Pisces. Mystical. Messy. Magnetic. And 100% here to dissolve whatever fake walls you’ve built around your heart. They sure know how to get you to feel.

So yes, this is a Full Moon of release and reflection. Of realizing where you’ve been escaping instead of engaging. Of feeling how your longing for connection sometimes slips into over-giving. With the Sun opposite in Virgo, part of you still craves order, lists, and logical answers, but Pisces whispers:

“Great and all, but-eh that dream you have always kept hidden… when are you finally deciding to go for it?”

Other feelings to be felt arreeee:

This isn’t just about your inner world. Under this Pisces eclipse, the collective field also gets… slippery:

  • Hyper-empathy: Suddenly feeling everyone’s emotions (and their dog’s) like you’re a cosmic sponge. Hypersensitivity makes moods contagious. If you suddenly feel heavy, check: is this mine, or did I just absorb it from the room?

  • Exhausted but wired: Dream life running wild at night, body crashing by day.

  • Romanticizing escapism: Fantasizing about Bali, soulmates, or that career as a full-time writer.

  • Triggered boundaries: Realizing you’ve been saying yes when you mean no… or floating off instead of speaking up.

  • Surprise spiritual downloads: Expect dream-like insights or intuitive hits that feel bigger than you. Write them down. No, really, please put a notebook next to your bed.

  • Emotional leakage everywhere:  people oversharing, crying in public, or unloading their feelings onto you without warning. (tip: carry extra tissues)

  • Confusion & forgetfulness: expect miscommunication, forgotten plans, or “Wait, what are we even talking about again?” loops.

  • Low patience: Virgo wants precision, Pisces brings fog. Cue irritation when things don’t make sense.

  • Projection central: With emotions heightened, people project their own unprocessed stuff onto others. If someone suddenly lashes out, it might not even be about you, you just lit up their “mirror” button.

  • Whiplash between idealism & criticism: Some float off into “love & light only,” others nitpick everything. Both are shadow plays.

Translation: This weekend, people are more emotional, less patient, and more reactive. The medicine? Compassion + boundaries. Stay soft, but don’t get dragged into every wave.

Your body’s whisper (or scream)

Pisces rules the feet, lymphatic system, and pineal gland (hello, third eye). Aka: the body’s flow + your spiritual wifi signal.

So if you’re feeling like:

  • Heavy, achy, or restless feet

  • Puffy or sluggish lymph (aka “emotional hangover body”)

  • Vivid dreams or sleep that feels like a psychic bootcamp

  • Weird head pressure or “third eye headaches”

  • Disconnection from your body (floaty, ungrounded, spacey)

…yep, This full moon is working on you.

How to take care of yourself

We now know this Full Moon’s energy is watery, emotional, and slightly delulu. So your self-care needs to help you ride the waves without drowning in them. Think: soothing, softening, and making space for the feels in a loving way.

Here’s what that can actually look like:

Emotional boundaries are sexy.
That friend who trauma-dumps at midnight, while you are struggling? Not this time. That Instagram rabbit hole making you compare your life to people who probably cried before filming that reel? Close it. Pisces dissolves boundaries, so you need to lovingly rebuild them.

Contain the flood.
Crying is medicine, but balance it. If you feel like you’re spiraling, give yourself a container: set a timer, play a playlist, journal for 20 minutes. Then close it with a ritual (deep breath, candle blow-out, tea). Don’t let it hijack your whole day. You can still be a queen; there is a time and place for a pity-party.

Don’t overdose on escapism.
Yes, Netflix binges and fantasy scrolls are tempting, but Pisces asks: are you numbing or nourishing? Swap one escape for something that still feeds your soul; painting, creating, talking, daydream journaling, meditating, or literally just staring at the sky.

Trust the fog.
If you don’t have all the answers this week, good. This isn’t a planning moon. It’s a surrender moon. Let uncertainty be your teacher instead of your enemy.

The body might be craving grounding and cleansing. This is a good time to:

  • Soak your feet in warm salt water (literally release what’s weighing you down)

  • Do gentle lymphatic drainage or dry brushing

  • Practice yoga (see which poses below)

  • Walk barefoot in nature to ground your energy

  • Journal your dreams, i think i’ve mentioned that enough now, right? DO IT.

What to focus on during yoga?

The keyword here is gentle flow

Pisces Full Moon energy is watery, emotional, and mystical, but the eclipse twist makes it potent. Traditionally, strong physical practices are avoided during eclipses. it’s more a time for stillness, meditation, or inward-turning postures. Move in a way that clears fog, activates intuition, and grounds your energy so you don’t float into lala-land.

We’re tuning into the Third Eye + Crown chakras (intuition, surrender, higher guidance) … with a dose of Root grounding to hold it all together.

1. Rabbit Pose (Sasangasana)
A deep Third Eye activation: forehead to the mat, crown lifting, spine rounded. It connects head + heart, and helps release mental clutter.

 2. Exalted Warrior (Viparita Virabhadrasana)
Rooted through the legs, expansive through the heart and gaze upward, literally bridging Root with Crown. It embodies Pisces’ dreamy expansion but keeps Virgo’s grounding intact.

3. Chair Pose (Utkatasana)
Yes, the one everyone groans at. A Root chakra strengthener: grounding into your foundation, while setting your legs on fire. It reminds you that spiritual flow still needs a strong container.

4. Wide-Legged Forward Fold (Prasarita Padottanasana)
Opens the Crown chakra when the crown of the head rests toward the floor, grounding through the legs. Let all that shit goooo.

5. Reclined Bound Angle with Hands on Third Eye & Heart (Supta Baddha Konasana variation)
Finishes soft, with Root + Heart grounded, while opening intuition and integrating Pisces’ emotional lessons.

Bonus

Yoga Teacher twist: Close the practice with a few minutes of intuitive free movement or integrate gentle swaying in seated pose or cat-cow. Pisces thrives when you let the body guide instead of forcing control.

⚠️ Eclipse Reminder!

In Vedic wisdom, eclipses are not the moment for your manifestation list or charging crystals. Think release, reflection, and rest instead. Eclipse energy is shadowy, karmic, and meant for inner cleansing, not for launching your vision board into the universe.

Rituals for that moon energy

Since I have mentioned quite a lot of things already, let’s keep it simple here:

1. The Release Letter

Write down the habits, beliefs, or emotional patterns you’re ready to release, especially the ones where you’ve been escaping instead of engaging. Keep it raw and honest. Then:

  • Submerge it in water and let it dissolve.
Why? Eclipses are about endings. This ritual gives your emotions a container and a release valve.

  • Do you want to make it extra dramatic? I bet you do ;) Then use toiletpaper! flush and buh-byeeee.

2. Dream Channeling

Instead of just writing down your dreams, ask for guidance before bed. Set an intention like: “Show me what I’m ready to release/see next.” Place a notebook by your bed and capture whatever comes, even if it feels random. Pisces speaks in symbols, not logic. (Yes, I know, this is like the 5th time I’ve said it… but I pinky promise it’s the last one.)

3. (my favorite) Intuitive “Shaking Medicine”

Stand barefoot, close your eyes, and start shaking the body gently - hands, arms, shoulders, hips, legs. Let it grow wilder if it wants, then slow it back down. End by standing still, eyes closed, sensing the after-vibration.

Pisces rules the lymphatic system, so a beautiful ritual for this Blood Moon is lymph-clearing movement. Other than shaking, you can try bouncing or dry-brushing as a way of moving stuck emotions out of your body and back into flow. Think of it as a physical release ritual, your body will thank you!

Reflective journal prompts

  1. Where in my life am I escaping instead of engaging?

  2. Which dream or vision keeps tugging at me, no matter how much I ignore it?

  3. What would protecting my energy with love look like?

  4. What is my strongest (hidden) emotion at the moment, and where is it located in my body?

  5. If I fully trusted my intuition, what would it be guiding me toward right now?

Aquarius’ parting words would be…

So congratulations, you made it thus far. May your weekend be deep and insightful. And just remember that this Blood Moon isn’t about fixing or proving, dissolving is the key. Letting the tide take what was never really yours, and trusting that what’s meant to stay will still be standing when the waters calm down.

If you feel foggy, tender, or like you’re half in a dream. Give yourself a break this weekend. People around you may be on edge and panicky, but you are informed now, so you can surrender and show compassion. There is no need for forcing; clarity arrives when you finally stop pushing.

So don’t rush. Don’t try to “figure it all out.” Just feel. Float. Listen. Let your intuition whisper louder than the noise.

Because sometimes, the most productive thing you can do… is stop swimming against the current.

And hey, If you end up ugly crying through it, just tell people it’s your “lymph-clearing ritual.” Instant spiritual upgrade. 😉

With softness & surrender,
